  1. In the U.S Constitution , the government is divided into three branches : legislative, executive, and judicial. These three branches are not independent of one another because the constitution set up a system of checks and balances to make sure that no one branch became too powerful. Each branch has powers that it can use to check and balance the operations and power of the other two branches.

  2. The system of checks and balances was made to equalize the power between the three branches of government so that a tyrant doesn't come up goes on a power trip from all the power that's been given to it and each of the three branches can cancel out each others power for example the judicial branch can be restricted by the legislative branch and the legislative can be ristricted in some cases by the executive branch and this system was cleverly put together to balance out all the power in the government and as another example if the legislative branch passes a law the president can veto the law

The system of checks and balances was made to equalize the power between the three branches of government so that a tyrant wouldnt come up and go on a power trip because of all the power given and the way it works is that each branch can restrict it from doing something the legislative can restrict the judicial and the executive cam restrict the legislative for example the legislative can pass a law, but the president has the ability to veto the law and this whole process keeps the power of the government equally spread thought the branches

  4. The Constitution of the United States is the law of our land. Checks and Balances is when all three branches of the government can prevail parts of each other. They work when you divide responsibility and authority over multiple divisions of an organization. This division in our government is among the executive, legislative, and judicial branches. Each branch has some oversight of the other and can limit the powers of the others to create a balance among all of the three branches in the government.

  7. Checks and balances is an important part of the constitution. Each of the three branches of the government can limit the powers of the others. Each branch "checks" the power of the other branches to make sure that the power is balanced between them. How this feature works is first the legislative branch introduces and votes on a bill. the bill then goes to the executive branch, where the president decides whether he thinks the bill is good for the country. if he signs the bill, then it becomes a law. if the president dont sign it, then its called a veto.once a law is in place, the people of the country can test it through the court system, which is under the control of the judicial branch.

  8. The U.S Constitution is divided into three branches: Legislative, Executive, and Judicial. The system of checks and balances help us to ensure that no branch will have to much power as well as, not be independent with one another. The Legislative Branch is given the powers to make the laws. Executive Branch is given the power to carry out the laws. Judicial Branch is given the power to interpret the laws.

Meaning that government is not allowed under whatever reasons to take away the rights of the people. This amendment helps the country keep there promise to the people to not take away the rights of the people and make it fair to them as well. The land of the free and the home of the brave! We are deserving of these rights the constitution and its ninth amendment gives us that privilege.

  10. The United States Constitution consist of checks and balances. This is very important because it is makes sure all three branches are on the same page. The system of "checks and balances" is a document that is voted on by the legislative branch. After they have the majority of the people agree on this document it is then sent to the executive branch to be signed by the president.

For an example there is electoral and popular votes which signifies checks and balances by having two different things to equalize things and not be corrupt

  13. The Constitution of the United States of America is the supreme law of the United States. Empowered with the sovereign authority of the people by the framers and the consent of the legislatures of the states, it is the source of all government powers, and also provides important limitations on the government that protect the fundamental rights of United States citizens. 14. As Jefferson wrote the declaration, he linked many of these ideas. In the first part, he wrote that all men have rights. These included “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” He wrote that the colonies were no longer bound to England. He wrote that governments should get their power from the people, not a king.
In another section, Jefferson listed the charges against King George III. One was “imposing taxes on us without our Consent.” Another was “cutting off our Trade with all parts of the world.”

Jefferson also drafted a section attacking the slave trade. He described slavery as against the "most sacred rights of life and liberty."

  15. The system of checks and balances is a very important part of the constitution. With checks and balances each of the three branches of government can regulate and limit the powers of the others. Each branch checks the power of the other branches to make sure that the power is balanced between them.
