Buffalo Soldiers were instrumental in the American Civil War. They were mostly stationed at posts within the Great Plains as well as the Southwestern regions of the nation. These soldiers fought bravely against the Indians and a total of nineteen Medals of Honor were earned by them.
The Buffalo Soldiers were formed on the year of 1866 and they were fighting for their freedom and for others as well. These men to me are a representation of fearless men who would do anything for their freedom and for ours as well.
Buffalo soldiers were African American soldiers who fought against various type of people but for the Indians that's how they got there name by there tactics and fighting skills.
The Buffalo Soldier’s had to protect settlers as they moved west and support the westward expansion by building the infrastructure needed for new settlements to set in.
